California based rock/blues band, Russian Money, consists of Ryan Dean and John Bell, both of whom were with the group Poor Mans Poison. Mario Tiexiera from Saltwater and Docs Holiday and Matt Hopson. The group started in early 2015 as a Ryan Dean solo project and quickly developed into what is now, Russian Money. The group is a modern blend of blues infused rock with a darker side.
Russian Money has already had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such acts as Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters and country star Craig Morgan in their short time together. With the release of their debut album 'Nothing For You There' the group plans to continue to spread their dark, melodic take on rock, blues and soul music to listeners around the world.
A fan described Russian Money as such when asked about the group, "The Ruble may be in a slump, but the exchange rate is high for Russian Money, where Ryan Dean proves hes not a 'Poor Man' anymore, with his rich vocals, cashing in on John Bells wealth of guitar talent, while Mario and Matt are 'Putin' down the beats in the rhythm section. Oil prices don't determine the value of this band whose fortune is on the rise. Vodka!"
