Pop Star Chris Trousdale Inks Deal With The Spectra Music Group

American pop artist Chris Trousdale is a triple threat with dancing and acting chops that are as stand out as his vocals. He first got the performance bug when he starred in Broadway hits Les Miserables and The Sound of Music at the young age of 8 years old. His involvement with Broadway led him to joining the performance group The Broadway Kids.

After his time in Broadway Kids he went to join the platinum selling teen boy band Dream Street whose debut album went directly to #1 on the U.S. charts. Dream Street had a very successful run which included touring with artists such as Britney Spears and Aaron Carter as well as sold out headling tours across America.

Chris starred as the lead in the movie The Biggest Fan, which has gone to sell over 300,000 copies as well as airing on the Nickelodeon network worldwide gaining him an international fan base.

After 3 record breaking years, Dream Street parted ways leading to Chris pursuing a solo career. He teamed up with the Swedish pop group PLAY on a remake of "Im Gonna Make You Love Me," which was certified Gold in America. Another stand out collaboration would be his 2003 duet with Jive Records pop sensation Nikki Cleary on a remake of Grease hit "You’re The One That I Want." In addition to multiple releases, which were added in heavy rotation on Radio Disney, Chris lent his vocals to collaborations with Jewel and musical legend Ray Charles.

On top of touring America, Chris found the time to get back in front of the camera for roles in both silver screen and small screen productions. He starred in the crime thriller Seducing Spirits which allowed him to reach a new audience and show a bit of edge he hadn’t displayed in previous roles. Doing a complete 180 from Seducing Spirits, Chris was a guest star on the Disney Channel hit series Shake It Up where he showcased what a triple threat he really is. Chris recorded the song "I’m Not Too Young" for the shows soundtrack and performed it on the episode in which he starred along with some amazing choreography.

Now Chris Trousdale is working on his solo project and has teamed up with The Spectra Music Group(the largest indie record label in the world )  to release his much anticipated new music. With frequent appearances on Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel, fans are ecstatic about the new record cannot wait for his first single to be dropped early Fall 2014.
