Blues Guitarist Phil Gates Joins Spectra Roster

Phil Gates an american blues, soul, funk and rock guitarist joins the Spectra Music Group. Strumming the guitar and dazzling audiences for over three decades, this guitar virtuoso has landed a deal for a new record currently in the works. The upcoming album will be adding a mixture of Blues and Soul and those ingredients have made the upcoming record very highly anticipated. 

Phil credits a diverse array of musicians as influences such as Santana, Hendrix, Al Di Meola, Rush and more. 



Phil has also Produced “Urban Legacy” for Julia Jordan (daughter of guitar phenom Stanley Jordan), “The Blues According To Zaccariah” with Zac Harmon, “Too Much Car For The Road” for Toni Dodd, “Still Rockin’” with Drew Berlin for Charles Connor (original Drummer for Little Richard) and also with Drew Berlin, Co-Produced a CD for L.A. band “Them Howling Bones.”

Phil is also the Director of Music for the James Marshall Hendrix Foundation working with the CEO Joe Rosignolo on the "Music For Life" program, and on building an online education platform for the foundation.
